The most powerful force the world never sees
The SEALs- an acronym for Sea, Air and Land- were created in 1962 by president John F. Kennedy to conduct unconventional
and counter-guerrilla warfare. Now more than 35 years after the first mission, their mystique and popularity have grown
beyond comparison.
The SEALs are based on the East and West coasts of the United States. Widely regarded as the preeminent defensive force
in the world, SEALs operate some of the most sophisticated equipment available, from high speed gunner boats to laser-guided
weapons. SEAL missions are strictly classified and require the highest degree of precision. That's why SEAL teamwork and
camaraderie have become legendary- they not only protect the lives of every American, they protect each other, everyday.
The honor and pride associated with becoming a SEAL is the driving force for those who join. SEALs understand that
they have a direct impact on the security of America, and it is their dedication and determination that have earned them such
